Chief Minister Punjab and prominent PML(N) leader Shahbaz Sharif has launched his presence on social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. Shahbaz Sharif launched his social media presence himself using a laptop.

The United States’ Consulate General in Lahore (Punjab, Pakistan) has recently become very active on Facebook. A new ad on Facebook builds a positive image of president Obama and advertises his 2011 visit to Pakistan. This ad (shown in an image on right side) is titled as “Obama Returns to Pakistan”.
